Ever Feel Inadequate?
Living With Purpose in Every Season: Week 6 Do ever feel like everyone else is doing life better than you? I get it. I see what everyone else is doing and how awesome they are doing it and wonder what I am missing. As a homeschool mom for the past three years, the trap of comparison is so evident all around me. It only takes one glance around me to get me all choked up about how inadequate my homeschooling skills are. As a blogger, it only takes one click to realize how much I don’t know about the huge
Mom, Stay a Little Longer
The sink is overflowing with dishes and the floor is speckled with crumbs, but it’s time for dinner again. The easiest option is soup, so I stir and let it simmer until it’s ready. I’ll be the first to confess I take perfectly normal days and make complete motherhood messes that I would rather forget. I start out with really good intentions. I get up early, drink enough

I know it might sound strange to give your husband a list of things you want him to say to you, but sometimes husbands wish they knew what their wife wanted them to say. Have you ever looked at your husband and wished he would say something sweet, kind, or at least say something at all? Rather than expecting your husband to sift through the signals of what you are really trying to say, try saying

You know, like when one of my kids does something really amazing and I sit there and grin from ear to ear thinking, “Yep, that’s my kid!” Or when I actually get all the laundry caught up and even match all the socks that have been sitting in a basket for months,
